Workshop 2C: Saturday, October 29 ~ 1:45 pm to 3:15 pm
Close proximity to death gives us the opportunity to experience life in its impermanent essence and helps us to fully appreciate it as our biggest gift. When we learn to open our hearts to the shattering feeling of uncontrollable grief, we can also surrender to the equally overwhelming feeling of unconditional love.
The grieving process is one of the most misunderstood and ignored opportunities for personal transformation. Deeply felt sadness holds many gifts if we keep our hearts open during this challenging time. Grief is the key that turns resistance into acceptance and loss into wisdom and compassion.
By sharing personal experiences and setting constellations around the theme of loss and grief, this workshop will shed light on
- The different stages of the grieving process
- The transformative qualities of grief (its gifts and blessings),
- The pitfalls of grief
- How to stay present and connected to the heart even when it hurts
- How to support a person in grief
