Deborah Gavrin Frangquist is a San Francisco consultant committed to changing workplace and organizational cultures so that real people can thrive at work. She has been engaged with Systemic Constellations since 2000. She particularly treasures the capacity of Constellations to reveal hidden patterns and unacknowledged relationships, going beyond the types of causation addressed by common business models or analysis.
Deborah studied economic history at the Universität des Saarlandes (Germany), focusing on the industrial revolution of the nineteenth century. She then became a career consultant, first with MBA students at San Francisco State University and later, since 1996, in private practice. Organizational consulting has become the next stage of her work, addressing the systemic factors that aid or block individual efforts to construct work lives which are effective, sustainable, and satisfying. Deborah focuses on assisting people to make good decisions in the face of uncertainty, mystery, and rapid economic and technological change.
Deborah Frangquist is a Reiki Master and a Master NLP Practitioner. Practicing T’ai Chi teaches her flexibility, awareness, and humility while enhancing her ability to laugh at herself. She believes that embodied experience is the best way to learn how to navigate in life and work, although she often says how much she values having “some theory to go with my practice.” She is consistently delighted that constellation work blends theory and practice with such profound effect.
