Constellations for Integrative Healthcare; Full Day Course

Friday, October 28 ~ 10:15 am to 6:00 pm

The full-day Constellations for Integrative Health course will present the latest developments in using Constellations to support physical and mental health and well-being.  The faculty includes medical and chiropractic doctors, psychologists, and licensed psychotherapists who have developed innovative approaches to integrate Systemic Constellations in their professional practices in both individual and group settings.

This course combines mental and physical health acknowledging that the mind affects the body and the body affects the mind.  In practice, any division of physical and mental health is purely artifical. The trend towards increased specialization describes people by listing their symptoms. Integrative practitioners are skilled at perceiving the fullness of body-mind interactions. The Constellation process embraces discernment, spontaneity, and grounded imagination to help clients perceive previously unseen and unfelt connections between physical and mental states. After achieving new awareness and understanding, clients who experience Constellations often report overall improvements in the course of their treatment.

Both group work and individual work will be explored.  Throughout the day, utilizing the gift of Constellations, we will offer experiences and explorations that support physical and mental health and well-being. The mind is not the body and the body is not the mind; yet they respond to changes and sensations in exquisite coordination.
Examples of issues to be explored throughout the day include:
*The client and her/his mental or physical illness.
*The client and his/her dysfunctional trait, state, pattern, compulsive tendency, feeling or sensation state.

The course will combine the theoretical underpinnings of Constellations for integrative health, case studies of successful applications, their indications and contraindications, actual Constellations, and an open and candid discussion of how to apply Constellations in real-world professional settings. The ethical incorporation of Constellations into professional practices will be demonstrated by examining the existing theories and modalities of professional practice that align with Constellation work.

This course is recommended for those with all levels of Constellation experience.  Mental and physical health professionals, as well as, the general population, will benefit from this exploration of the “oneness” of mind and body.
